Fashion flashes pink 19 August 2010

The Akeman paid tribute to a fantastically-successful fashion show in the first week of July, raising approximately £1250 for Breast Cancer Care.

The In the Pink fashion show, held in collaboration with local fashion boutiques Tribe and Fuse, saw 100 enthusiastic ladies treat themselves to a three course meal and plenty of catwalk action, flushed down with plenty of appropriately pink wine.

Oakman Inns & Restaurants saw its very own Chief Executive even take part - Peter Borg-Neal proved a show-stopping model when strutting the catwalk with a profusion of flair and style, much to the delight of the female audience.

In addition to each ticket carrying a £5 donation to Breast Cancer Care, the charity event also held its own raffle, with some fantastically-appealing prizes including a break at Champney.
