Oakman Cycle Sportive is back and bigger than ever!

The one and only, original Oakman Cycle Sportive is back for Spring 2015; bigger than ever.

As the Oakman expansion continues it seemed fitting to do the same with the sportive. This year sees the introduction of another start and finish point at The Beech House, St Albans which will run alongside the original route starting at The Kings Arms, Berkhamsted. It boasts a 70k and 100k option ideal for all riders, with fuel stops at The Red Lion in Water End, The Akeman in Tring and The Kings Arm, Berkhamsted. The route runs through the best of the Chiltern’s with spectacular views and challenging climbs.

Route one is a 70k option starting at The Kings Arms, Berkhamsted. It will be stopping at The Red Lion, Water End and The Akeman, Tring. Finishing at The Kings Arms, Berkhamsted, where riders will be greeted with a breakfast barbeque. Route two is a 100k option which is slightly more challenging, starting at The Beech House, St Albans. The riders will have the option to stop at The Red Lion, Water End, The Akeman, Tring and The Kings Arms, Berkhamsted for fuel stops and will finish at The Beech House, St Albans.

Returning sponsors , Lovelo Cycle Works, will be there on the day to lend mechanical support with their fully equipped mobile workshop! With the new route comes a new sponsor, BC Cycles.
